I wonder if you kept the baster far enough back, that it was not a "shock"
to the coral when you blew DTS onto it, if it would be more effective? I
think the close up when disturbed, but I also think they will close up if
they have captured food... problem is it is hard to tell which reason is
causing them to close!

My theory on this coral's feeding behavior is that when the tiny
