That is another option I was considering, but ozone (O3) too is an
indiscriminate killer.  How often do you run it?  What brand?  How many mg
per hour is it?  How did you implement it i.e. through a reactor?
It seems to me that whatever you employ UV or O3, they both do the same
thing, but in different ways.  O3 is a highly reactive gas which rips apart
chemical bonds, where as UV destroys cells and breaks bonds by radiation.
O3 to me looks more complex from an installation stand point.  UV can just
be put inline from your return pump and turned on as necessary.
