I had the same problem with a sohal tang. The sohal was beating the shit
out of the other fish in the tank so I had to remove the sohal from my 150
gallon reef aquarium. I took some extra glass tops I had and set the trap.
I connected the glass tops and set them up like walls in front of the tank.
The one end I used as a swinging dooor. I feed the fish and they all run to
the frozen brine. When the sohal went into the glassed off room in the tank
I closed the glass door and fished him out with a net. I didn't disturb any
of my corals and the sohal was traded for another fish. I know this may be
unclear but it will work. I can try to better explain it if you would like
to try it or if you haven't been able to catch it yet.
