Well first of all it depends on th etypes of acropora you have.  If you have
metal halid lighting and the acropora are fairly close to the MH lights than
I would have to question your water parameters and you calcium level.  If
you have a brown or dark clored acropora frag it doesn'y matter how good
your lighting is it will stay dark.  Look at you calcium, placement of sps,
and water parameters.
