Because it replicates what happens in nature, indicates that
the animals are very healthy, produces more captive bred
animals, and also provides a source of nutrition for other animals.
The milky secretions and little floating would-be corals don't stay
in the tank for forever.  Hmm, do you favor a more Huxley-like
approach to continuation of species?
