I hooked up my ro unit about 3 hours ago to make up some water for a water
change. The thing is that I already have probably 15 gallons of water in 3
hours. It is only a 50 gal per day ro unit. The unit is only about a year
old and the carbon and prefilter were changed at 6 months. I make maybe 80
gallons a month for makeup water and water changes. When do you know when
to change the ro membrane? I usually takes 14 hours or so to fill my
garbage can but now it is a third of the way full in 3 hours.
