Well I scrubbed off the little white snails and I must say when I removed
the clam the base was loaded.But I have to say there were no signs of
stress.My next problem is I have a Clavularia(sp?) with these little brown
Algal puffs that form a net of rootwork around this coral. I wish I had an
USB extention cable for my USB camera which by the way has some stunning
close up resolution so I could post it. Anyway it stresses the coral to much
to remove the coral and remove it. In the past it has worked but the coral
didn't open for almost a week and the open polyps were sparatic. Any idea's
on what this is?What herbivore if any like munching on this stuff? Also
anywhere I can find a USB extension?I know that Firewire stuff looks just
like it but I need a female at one end and a male at the other.
