I just helped a friend of mine introduce a hippo tang. he tried two times
before and both died from ich. He Q tanked both of them, and neither survived
the Q tank both contracted ich. It would be a good idea to put in a section
of PVC pipe big enough for the fish to hide in. On the third time we also fed
garlic juice soaked food right from the start. Twice a day for two weeks then
every other day for another week, then we moved him to the main tank.. He has
been healthy has can be for about a month now. Cant wait till i get my 90 I
think hippos are beautiful fish.
