Hi all.
Got a problem I cant shake!!
since I upgraded to my mh lights, it seems I can see alot more of the fine
particulates in my water column. I have tried everything. It seems its a
cross between minute airbubbles and just gunk.
I use filter floss in my sump to help reduce the fine stuff but it seems it
only gets a portion.
I also have a checker gobie. think it could stirr up enuff stuff to drive
me insane??
the tank is a 120 with dual overflows. a mag 1200 and a quiet one for water
returns.
skimmer is a red sea classic, and I use a cal reactor.
in the tank are 5 pwr heads running with a wavemaster pro.
it seems to be better in the morning.
Also I have a pfo mh setup with the 65k iwasaki bulbs (400watt) it seems
that in the morning they look whiter than in the evening, they look more
yellow. any thoughts??
the mh run for 10 hrs and the 6 vho actinics run for 12
