Those of you out there using the Durso(sp) standpipe design, how many GPH
are you all pushing through yours? I have one that I have been using for
about a year. The other day, I added another return from my main pump, and
now can not get the pipe to keep up with the output of the pump. I have made
the modification for the airvalve on top, but even closed almost all the way
(which is supposed to up the capacity of the pipe), it still cant keep up
with the pump. I would guess I am pushing probably 800-1000 gph through the
system. Even when I bump that up a tad, it exceeds the pipes apparent limits
and overflows the tank.
Any thoughts or feedback??
