Algae on Glass No. 2

(Oops.  Sorry about the previous email.)   I know there must be a simple answer to this problem:  After many years of reef keeping, I've become tired of cleaning the glass.  I do the magnet trick about once a week and the razor blade trick about once every other month.  Would a better skimmer alleviate this?  If not, what?  The tank, otherwise, appears healthy.   Thanks, Dianne
