I added a colt coral and I moved my leather coral up... which is on the same
side as the Xenia.. but no where near touching it

Start doing some water changes, The same thing happened to me and I think i 
figgured it out. Just out of curiosity did you recently add any new corals
if 
so which kinds? I think mine was because of a temperature spike. Iv read a 
few sources stating that above mid 80s xenia really starts to suffer.
