Subject: substrate depth ?I am setting up a Berlin style reef (LR & LS) & I have seen that opinions vary widely on substrate. I would like to confirm that the information I have found is the most up to date.Articles in the Thiel infobase suggest 50% LS, 25% crushed coral & 25% crushed shell, at a depth of 2 to 3 in. min. up to 6 in.Inland Aquatics suggests mixed sands, 3in min. & as deep as the aquarist will allow.Has anyone out there had experience (good or bad) with these deep substrates?ThanksChris
