Doubtful. These things growing on the glass, and throughout the system are
normal when you are starting up, and are actually a good sign. I wouldnt
worry about them right now. Watch them, and if you see they are causing
problems with animals in the tank then you have problems. These types of
animals will proliferate quickly for a while, then will level out and just
grow in areas where you dont wipe them out.
