Stay away from the Rio as a return pump, or for anything else as far as that goes.

I had one smoke in my reef, which smoked my wavemaker as well.

I had another that would not restart if you powered it down for feeding.

I am planning to buy a RIO powerhead to use it as return pump. I know a lot of stories involved about the quality of them and how a lot of people had problems with them.

What can you tell me about them? any comment? experiences?
