I would go for the Maxijets.
Hagen 802 are very good.(I have 4)but the intake is big and can suction fishes or corals close to them. YOu can use the QUick filter without the fiber in it.

Hagen 802 or Maxijet 1200. If you can afford it then go with Gemini
pumps

OK, now that I'm thoroughly confused...... What is the general consensus
as to recommendations for reliable POWERHEADS. The kinds I need to hook
up 4 of to be run by a wavemaster plus, in order to keep the water in my
reef tank moving.
TIA,
Larry

These are not powerheads. They are pumps that can be used either

(in a sump for eg.) or externally.
