Hey, thanks for asking! The other day, it moved, and was headed directly for
a pagoda cup coral that I have. So I moved the pagoda cup, and the anemone
found a place, and stopped moving. I was concerned because he was moving,
but I think he was looking for more current. Once he found a spot that sort
of blew him around a bit, he stopped moving. He found a spot only an inch or
two away from where he was, and has stayed there since (knock on wood). The
funny thing is that he has moved into a spot that totally exposes his foot.
I expected him to try and find a bigger hole in the rock work somewhere to
protect his foot, but he is attached to a spot on the rock that is pointed
out. Sort of not what I expected. I tried to provide some PVC for him to
crawl into, but he didnt go for it.

It is eating every day, and is taking scallops, bay shrimp, silversides and
ocassionaly will take a small krill or mysis shrimp. I am starting to see a
bit of color come back into his body and when the actinics are on, I can see
the xooanthelle glowing in the light in his tentacles. So, it seems like he
is beginning to regain some of that as well. His tentacles have not began to
get any color, and are still bright white, but as I said, when the actinics
are on, you can see them working on it. He has not grown a bunch overall,
but is bigger than when I found him. He has probably grown about half again
the size he was when I found him. He also has retained his "bubbles" on his
tips, which I hear some of them loose if conditions are not adequate, so I
guess that is a good sign.

One wierd thing I have noticed, and maybe anemone owners can answer this for
me, but when I go to feed, he withdraws very quickly, and does not grab the
food. Its first reaction is to pull back. I have to basically jam the food
next to its mouth, and then it proceeds to eat. I wonder if this is normal?
Could it be that it is not used to movement like that, because I dont have
clownfish in it?

If he lives and does well for a while, and gets big enough, I plan on
getting him some clownfish. Until then, it will just have to live the single
life!

Shane
