Hi Tracy,
I'd echo everyone's counsel to be patient. Mine acted exactly like yours is and I had the same concerns. In my case, I was sure I'd killed the poor thing on the drive home from the LFS because it was beautiful in THEIR tank (g). It took about 10 days (and three calls to the LFS), high in the tank, for it to come out. Now it looks great!
I'm guessing it'll be O.K.
Reassuringly,
Larry

Okay everyone, I need some advice here. I bought some green star polyps from FFE last week. At first I thought they sent me the wrong thing because there were no green grass-type sprouts like in the picture. It looked like a piece of live rock with purple coralline-colored knobs on it. By the night there were a few sprouts coming out of those knobs, so I figured I did get what I purchased and had to wait for the sprouts to come out. Well, the sprouts went back inside by the morning and haven't come out since. I emailed FFE and they said it would probably take a few days to bloom. It has now been 8 days and I've got nothing. Last night a saw one start to sprout and then go back inside. I moved them to different spots in the tank, thinking they were getting too much/little current and light, but there has been no change. Am I being too impatient or is something wrong?
TIA,
Tracy
