When your tank is below 79 degrees, is your heater on? Sounds like you
should add a second heater of the same size. Your at 2 watts of heat per
gallon, and that is not enough, especially with a sump and a cold room. Your
heat is dissapating right out the top of the water in your sump. You could
add your other heater back in the mix just to see if it makes a difference.
If so, purchase a second ebo.
