Thanks guys for the lighting input (Dave, Shane, Larry, Craig). I decided on VHO (4x165w), this is about 4 1/2 watts per gallon. More light & less money than PC.
P.S. Shane if you still need a light strip I will have an extra flouro. when my new ones arrive, I'll measure the length tonight.
