Subject: Pipefish compatibilityI see a couple of pipefish at my LFS that are pretty large, about 8" (not same species from what I can tell) and I'd like to get them but not sure if they'd be okay in my 50 gal tank. Currently, it only has a neon pseudochromis and a lawnmower blenny. Does anyone see a problem here? My LFS seems to have a very hard time getting glass shrimp or critters of the like. Can they be mail ordered?
I also saw someone mentioning to buy caulerpa from inland aquatics inexpensively. However when I called, they charge huge shipping fees since they only ship fedex overnight. Any other source since I don't think I need it overnight (or do I?) My LFS wants to see me a small wad (perhaps an ounce) for $20.
Where
do you live? If your near me, I'll soon have some to give away (if it keeps
growing ) . I got mine from Tampa Bay Saltwater for $6, but I don't know about
shipping because I ordered LR etc. at the same time. It wouldn't hurt to give
them a call, they may have some of the other critters you want & you can
have it shipped together.
Sorry
I don't know about pipefish, but 8" x 2 sounds big in a 50g.
