please do not get a mandarin! they are such finicky eaters even if you have a good population of fauna. they can easily decimate any tank under 100 gallons of the micro fauna needed to survive.
and on the brittle dont so it unless you have large fish. the one i had would perch and wait for my green chromis to swim under it at night and WHAM! dinner. they can eat any smaller sized fish. gramma, pseudochromis, damsels, small clowns ect....
