Salam, Pak Rempu Rayat, juga Pak Mod dan teman-teman,
Terima kasih atas jurus begitu kilat dari Pak RR, yang kesemuanya tepat sasaran khususnya mengenai komitmen negeri ini thd MDGs (tanya mbak Dian Sastro, idolanya Pak Mod Eka). Sampai di sini saya baru bisa menambahkan UN Chronicle interview dengan Bu Erna Witoelar; kalau minat, email beliau HYPERLINK "mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]"[EMAIL PROTECTED] Seperti ujar-ujar Pak RR, “the scope” memang terlalu luas untuk didiskusikan; namun salut atas pedenya bahwa kita – the few, the proud, the planners - “have a very-very strategic role in planning process” dengan rasa tanggungjawab yang tinggi. Bahkan, sesuai credo planner, jangan pernah lupa pula Amanah Penderitaan Rakyat; maka keahlian field investigation dan bikin questionnaire perlu segera diasah cepat. Aren’t we all excited, harus segera ribut cari kumpulan jurus-jurus tepat menuju “a fully-adjusted RTRWN, by October 2008” ??!! Nada minor Pak RR “so far we can not take it openly and seriously. Can we make it?”, agak kurang saya pahami. Kalau sekarang adalah era “revolusi berpikir” – sejak Sultan HB X sampai orang Meruya, PKL, buruh, IPDN, Sistem Kota-kota – masakan perkara yang memang kita pandang tugas suci sendiri kita ragu-ragu? Tanya Kenapa, WHY? Till next time. Wassalam, RMaris PS: untuk setiap point berikut planner bisa nggak bantu Di mana, Berapa, Kapan? At the Millennium Summit in 2000 in New York, 189 United Nations Member States pledged to achieve by 2015 the following eight MDGs: * Eradicate extreme hunger and poverty, by reducing by half the proportion of people suffering from hunger and/or of those living on less than one dollar a day; * Achieve universal primary education, by ensuring that all boys and girls complete a full course of primary schooling; * Promote gender equality and empower women, by eliminating gender disparity at in all levels of education; * Reduce child mortality rate among children under five by two thirds; * Improve maternal health, by reducing the maternal mortality ratio by three quarters; * Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases, by halting and beginning to reverse their incidence and spread; * Ensure environmental sustainability, by integrating sustainable development into country policies, reversing the loss of environmental resources, reducing by half the proportion of people without access to safe drinking water, and improving the lives of at least 100 million slum dwellers by 2020; and * Develop a global partnership for development, which includes addressing least developed countries' needs by reducing trade barriers and improving debt relief, and increasing official development assistance from developed countries. _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rempu Rayat Sent: 13 Mei 2007 18:05 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [referensi] I am sending you a very interesting article. (UN Chronicle Online Edition) Dear Pak Risman Maris & Planners I think, the diplomats are paid for it in any appropriate international forum. The money comes from tax that we paid. And then the technocrates at home must do every thing to make it happen. So the national agenda must be arranged in harmony, though it starts by the elected President. The scope is too wide for discussion, and each Ministrial Office must elaborate it proportionally. We, the few and the proud planners, have very-very strategic role in planning process to make it work and fruitful by 2015. Our National Leaders will ask our responsibility, if it fail. Nation wide, there are many-many works waiting for planners. So far we can not take it openly and seriously. Can we make it?
