For those of you who weren't able to make it, there was a wealth of information, and I know a lot of us are excited about the new developer and debugging tools baked into IE 8 as well as the improvements to security and stability. Christian also shared info on the new BizSpark program from Microsoft, which could prove very useful for the small startups in the group. Even if you don't build on the MS platform, BizSpark could prove useful as it provides free access to all of Microsoft's non-game software, so you could get a Windows license to use for testing your Web app on IE, tinkering with their design tools, SilverLight etc. If you're interested in the program, read this to see if you qualify: http://blogs.msdn.com/aniyer/archive/2008/11/11/how-do-i-join-bizspark.aspx Christian is able to approve applicants, so it's a streamlined process for qualifying Refreshers. :) Christian's blog is available here: http://blogs.flyover18.com/christhi/ Thanks to all who came out, it was a great meeting.
