Hey Folks, Now that we've had a chance to get to know each other a little bit...
I have an immediate need for a local freelance Flash guru. I'm building a seemingly simple online app that requires some crafty ActionScripting. Here are some of the details: The app will allow a user to upload an image of themselves and have their face superimposed on a model's body that's displayed on a mock magazine cover. The user should be able to move and resize their photo in order to position it within the model's face area (this will be masked out to make it easier). They should be able to download the final magazine cover in PDF format as well as email it (or a link) to a friend from within the Flash movie. The PDF export capabilities will likely be utilizing blazePDF (I'll buy the license) or AlivePDF for Flex (open source), unless you know of another way of doing this. I don't. All scenes have been designed as layered PSD files, so I should only require your movie-making/scripting skills. Please contact me directly OFF-LIST. Email me your hourly rate as well as a working example showing that you can take user content and integrate it within a Flash movie that can be forwarded to friends, printed, etc... *I will require that you sign a basic nondisclosure agreement *before sharing the project files as my client is a stickler for privacy/security. If you have a problem with this, look away now! Also, *YOU MUST BE LOCATED IN AUSTIN, TX.* If you respond from some other country in some other time zone I will not only ignore you, but I will add you to my SPAM filter never to hear from you again. Thanks for respecting my wishes! Feel free to forward this to a friend or colleague, but please DO NOT post it to other lists. Thanks a lot and I look forward to hearing from you! Now AlivePDF (alivepdf.bytearray.org) seems to be all the rage.
