Hi Y'all

Thanks for everybody who showed their interest in the Linked Data Tutorial.
It was not possible to choose a day for the tutorial because there was a
tie. So we decided to host the same event twice!

If you are a web developer, programmer, technical architect or anybody
interested in knowing about new technologies for the web, come learn about
Linked Data. Linked Data is about using Web technologies to connect data
that is related but stored in different locations. Linked Data techniques
are increasingly being used by organisations worldwide to improve the
portability, reusability, and interconnectedness of their data. This one-day
tutorial will introduce the concept, principles, and key features of Linked
Data; provide hands-on experience of creating Linked Data; provide a broad
technical understanding of how to publish Linked Data on the Web, including
the underlying design decisions that inform the publication process; and
highlight some of the tools available for publishing and consuming Linked
Data.

Date: Friday February 13 or Saturday February 14
Place: *Pickle Research Campus, MCC Building*
3925 W Braker Lane
Austin, TX 78759
Time: 9am to 5pm (Lunch will be provided)
Bring your laptops, this is a hands-on tutorial! If you have ftp access to
your own server, much better too!
Ticket: $10 at http://linkeddataaustin.eventbrite.com/

Looking forward to meeting you and having great discussions
