Good morning everyone, I was speaking with a client this morning that recently switched to a Mac and is using Mail for his mail client with POP3. He is using GMail to host the mail for his domain. When we went in to reset his password so that he could set up his iPhone we noticed that he had over 16K messages in the inbox.
We looked at his Mail preferences and the Remove mail from server check box is checked with a setting of after 1 week. So my question is, why isn't the mail being deleted from the Inbox at GMail? I've used the same set up for my mail with Thunderbird as my client before switching to IMAP and never experienced this problem. Can someone shed some light on this?
