I'll second that Sonny, we have all done it. On the initial question as it's now out in the open. For the record I did not ask that individual to leave, though in large part that was due to timing and the fact that I was often on the opposite of the room from the individual. He disappeared after the last incident before I had a chance to pull him aside.
Refresh Austin is an amazing group due solely to the fact that we are comprised of a a wide variety of people with a passion for the Web and all it entails. With that passion comes respect for those willing to stand in front of their peers and share. It's not easy and for many of our members, its the first time they have decided to try public speaking. Karen was not the only person who approached me about this individual. I'm proud to be a member of a group that rallies around each other in difficult situations and filters out those who damage what we've built. All are welcome at Refresh Austin and everyone should be comfortable stepping onto that stage and sharing what they know. Incidents like this are extremely rare and we will continue to work to ensure that they remain that way.
