Of course you can do that, and depending on, what you are going to do
with the aggregated content you need someone with a bit more RQL
experience.
Are you just showing the content within RedDot or do you want to
publish it from this point?

When pulishing is part of the process and there is no need for a
workflow, it would make sense to fetch the content directly from the
live site using a .net or whatever script language might be used.
Within RedDot you can do a lot of stuff to get things running :)
