OK, so there's like 3000+ proposals to vote on for SXSWi '10. How in the heck do we find the good ones?
Someone had the brilliant idea to do http://sxswdesign.com for design oriented panels. So inspired by and stealing that idea, I've picked up http://sxswtech.info for the same idea, but for technical panels/ talks. And this is not just for the two weeks left of the voting period, but for the ensuing time where we try to pick out and discuss which chosen panels are best to attend. AND, it'll be helpful during and immediately after the '10 event to track what was good and what we want to see next year, and in the time leading up to the voting next summer. Since SXSW process is nearly year long, this site could help in the whole life cycle! I got the domain, and I have it all set up in my hosting, with database, PHP, etc. But I need help! I need someone(s) to help throw together a quick simple design for the page, and I need some others who want to help collaborate on the "programming" of the site, getting some simple sharing concept functionality together. My goal would be to get something quick up in the next few days to a week. And then once the voting deadline is passed, we can revisit the site and make into more of a helpful and functional application going forward. Any takers? Please! I need some help to get something quickly!
