Thanks Mags and all for the replies.

I found a panel in Dreamhost that let me remove authority from the  
user in question. I don't want to delete him just yet because I don't  
fully understand how he has things setup on the server. There are 8-10  
site for this client. For some reasons known only to him he has part  
of the site running under a generic account. This related to the  
server path '/home/generic_user/'. But also part of the same site is  
stored under his server folder '/home/bad_webmaster/' (yes I've made  
up these names). My worry is deleting his Dreamhost account which will  
remove the files from the server. Eventually I need to move thing to a  
central account but only once I understand the layout of the sites.
