If you have lost your job this year and are receiving
unemploymnet you may qualify for a program called Workforce Investment
Act (WIA). Orientation for the program is held once a week at of each
of the Texas Workforce Soultions Office. Here is a link for their

It takes 6-8 wks. to get thru the appoval process.
I am in the last few weeks of a 4 month web design program at
Consulting Solutions.Net http://www.consultingsolutions.net/. The
primary focus of our studies have been on Dreamweaver/Flash/Photoshop.
The training is government funded and is approx. a $7,000.00 value.
The program also includes text books and CS4 software.
I recommend Consulting Solutions. Net (CSN) because the classes
are small and you get individual assistance from the instructor. If
you decided to check it out let Michael Brown at CSN know you heard
about the program from me.
I have benefited greatly from the training and hope this information
helps someone else.
