That's a tough one - desktop apps still save to a hard disk, so if you
wanted to update that icon, then maybe the same one we all use for the
HDD. Web Apps, however, are stored more and more in the cloud. An
arrow going into a box or up to a cloud perhaps? Those might only work
with a technical set, but it's a start.
