Oh man, where have these two tools been my whole life! Have you worked with user style sheets or javascript? A sandbox environment for user testing failed to materialize, so I was asked to see if there was another way to prototype a redesign. I found Stylish, a Firefox addon that lets you load your own CSS to override css on a site. I'd heard of some of the work Jon Hicks did with this a couple of years ago so, why not?
It's awesome, plain and simple. But what about pieces of the design's structure or content that are different? That's where Greasemonkey comes into play. I've left this little monkey in his cage too long. I prefer jQuery for my javascript work & wouldn't you know it, there's a Greasemonkey script that lets you use jQuery. So I've got user-end CSS and javascript to give a site a total overhaul for some user-testing. Freakin' sweet! Just wanted to share with the group.
