Well I must at least say this and then I will move on.
I do NOT discriminate. In fact, my soul mate is black! But anyone reading this knows as well as I do that if there was a group called Whites in Technology or any of the other groups I mentioned people in the Black community would be offended - and in my opinion rightfully so. I get the whole thing about the indiscretions of the treatment of women and people of color in our country's history. I just personally feel that we have made such great strides that things like this are a step in the wrong direction. I don't need to take a chill pill - I just feel strongly about this and wanted to voice my opinion. At the end of the day that is all it is - an opinion, and when all is said and done I'm sure my opinion doesn't mean much to the masses. It is the collective opinions I worry about.
