We are looking at 5000-10000 number of slides. I've found some sources, but don't know of anyone that has used them personally. The sources I have found that look the best are: http://www.scancafe.com http://www.pixmonix.com/ http://www.scandigital.com If there was a batch scanner that could handle hundreds of slides at a given time that might be a valid substitute for a service depending on expense.
