If most of the Wordpress is up and running( installed, plugins added, theme
installed) you might want to create their first level page structure and
maybe some second level pages and then train them how to create and modify
content themselves. That's the point of using Wordpress, no? They have to
learn sometime.

Your only job left would be to do the DNS switch or move the Wordpress
directory to the correct location. I'm thinking that is all about 2-3 hours
work plus an hour or so for training.
