Have recent announcements from the US federal government shifted our focus
toward the idea of "compliance" to regulations rather than striving for a UI
that includes everyone?

In this talk, we will take a look at the current state of user interface

Austin UPA <http://www.austinupa.org/> hosts Sharron Rush, the co-founder
and Executive Director of Knowbility, a nonprofit organization that grew
from the first Accessibility Internet Rally (AIR) in Austin in 1998. Sharron
believes strongly in the power of technology to support the independence of
people with disabilities – and in the value of dynamic, ongoing
collaboration to strengthen communities.
