Here's a jQuery scroller I used for a project recently:

<http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/sagscroller.htm>It has a "pause"
attribute that I assume could be set to 0, though I've not tried it myself.
I like the fact that I can load data from an external file.
