President Barack Obama will be speaking at The Moody Theater this evening, so
from 3:00 - 8:00 pm Lavaca Street will be closed, from Caesar Chavez to 3rd St.
and there will be police checkpoints set up on the street. There will be a
definite 2 hour hard lockdown of Lavaca St. and they cannot disclose the exact
time of the lockdown. No vehicles will be allowed in the area during that time,
but supposedly people will be able to walk. You may want to think through your
route to the meeting accordingly.

Don't let this deter you from coming though. We have two awesome topics
presented by great speakers, and of course the great bar with cold drinks will
be waiting.

See you tonight!
