There's no clean way to do it but you might be able to do a combination of
what Victor/Grumpicus are suggesting...
You could setup a local httpd instance that forwards all requests to the
original server and accounts for that specific file with a rewrite rule and
then you'd just point your host file to your local webserver... I think
that would do what you want but its not the cleanest solultion...
