City manager promotes Code for America fellowships

In his most recent blog post, City Manager Marc Ott endorsed the
City’s efforts to become one of the 2012 Code for America partner
cities. He also called for Austin “techies” to apply for one of the
organization’s fellowships.

“As our Web team works to build the new site, we have a unique
opportunity to involve local programmers through Code for America,”
Ott said. “As a finalist for the 2011-2012 program, I encourage you to
consider applying for one of their fellowships.”

You can find Ott’s entire blog post on his website.
