Hey Norman, Thanks for sharing this important info. Not to be snarky, but is the actual date of Ada Lovelace Day a secret? It's not in your email and I only finally discovered it buried halfway down the home page sidebar in 14px text. Not sure if you're involved with this website, but I'm thinking the date (October 7, BTW) should be right at the top in as large a font as "Get Involved."
