Hey all you Refreshers!

I wanted to let this group know about a user group that I have started in
conjunction with Appcelerator, the company behind the Titanium platform for
rapid mobile/desktop/web development.

The purpose of this meetup group is to provide a forum to talk all things Apps
and Titanium, from the technical coding side, to the business of releasing apps
and modules, design concepts etc. If you don't know about Appcelerator or
Titanium - this will be a great opportunity to find out how you can build
native applications using your knowledge of existing web technologies such as
Javascript, PHP and Ruby! What could be better right!?

Our first meetup will be on October 20th (meetup location still in the works).
For this first meetup, we're all about giving you the skinny on Titanium, what
does it do (magically!), how to get it setup, and even writing your first App -
not to mention saying hello to the KitchenSink! example app. Going forward
we'll dive into coding practices, catch up on latest news about the platform
and give everyone a chance to show off their apps and talk about what your
doing with Titanium!

And here is an Agenda of the first meeting

6:30 to 6:45 Food and Networking
6:45 to 7:00 Introductions

7:15 to 8:00 Presentation - Getting Started with Appcelerator Titanium
8:00 to 8:30 General Discussion and Help with Setting Up Titanium Dev
Environment, Closing
At the end of our meetup, we'll have a general discussion and open lab time. If
you're setting up your Titanium development environment and need help, bring
your laptop and we'll get you unstuck. Here are some links to start setting up
your environment before the meetup:

The more people we can get involved the better the discussion and direction the
User Group will take!

Hope to see you all there!

Codestrong!
