Hi everyone, please remember that all job opportunities, whether full time or contract work should be posted to the Refresh Austin Jobs list (http://groups.google.com/group/refresh-austin-jobs). This is an exciting time in the job market, but we want to ensure that the main list remains focused on discussions, questions and ideas.
Job Posting Guidelines Anyone is allowed to join the new group and post opportunities (including recruiters). The first message from each member will be moderated, following our practice here on the main list, to ensure we maintain a high level of quality. All job posts must meet these requirements: - The job opportunity must be in the Austin/Central Texas area. Telecommuting opportunities are acceptable as well, as long as the applicant may work from Austin. - The opportunity must be for a Web-related role (designer, developer, writer, UX manager etc.), general positions such as office manager, secretary or chimney sweep should be posted elsewhere. - The post should include the real name of the company or individual hiring. It is understood that sometimes projects have not been announced yet, but a contact name should be included at a minimum - Give it time before re-posting - do not post the same position day after day. Once you're signed up, you can post in the Web interface or send the summary via e-mail ([email protected]) Viewing Job Opportunities We'll send a single daily digest to the main Refresh Austin list containing all job postings added that day, so it will be easy for members to see available jobs if they are interested or to filter the message if they aren't. If you aren't posting jobs, you don't have to join the new list. We will also add the job posts to the Refresh Austin site as they come in, or you can choose to join the group to receive posts directly.
