I can't stress what Alex says below enough. A couple of years ago I was
offered some money to sell my tech blog CenterNetworks - I passed. Then I
began to slowly move my time over to my startup CloudContacts. Now my time
is nearly 100% (or more) on CC and so the traffic to CN has suffered
tremendously and because the traffic has gone down, the services the
supposedly monitor web traffic like Compete can't accurately report on the
real traffic. And I've also stopped selling ads - so the income has gone
from a reasonable amount to very little.

Now I want to sell CN and it has become very hard because a buyer wants
traffic and current income. The site has great worth but it's hard to show
it. The income/traffic is especially important if you use a service like
Flippa.
