Hi, I'm Vitorio. You might remember me from the talk I gave... last
night. Thanks to all fifty or so folks who came out! I have four
things for you (again):

FIRST, right now, it's approximately lunch time, spend five minutes
(that's all it takes) and take the 2012 community survey:

http://vi.to/austin-survey-2012

Then, tell everyone you work with to take it. And tell all your
friends. And tweet about it. And post it on Facebook. Use that URL!
It redirects you, but where it redirects you to might change based on
the number of responses, so always use that vi.to one.

If you're in Austin, and you are a programmer, or a graphic artist, or
a web developer, or a UX designer, or a usability researcher, or a
creative director, or a writer, or work in web, or work in tech, or
work in design, you should be taking the survey, because all the
information collected will be analyzed and given back to your local
user group and meetup organizers to help them make better decisions in
the future.

Seriously, please, take it, and tweet a link to:

http://vi.to/austin-survey-2012

SECOND, if you missed my talk, I've posted the raw slides and
presenters notes here:

http://vi.to/refresh-austin-february-2012-talk

Video is forthcoming, but there's no ETA yet.

THIRD, if you want to read the full essay the talk was based on,
there's like 48 hours left to pre-order the first issue of Distance:

FOURTH, all of the 2011 data and analysis, the information about the
feedback forms and how to use them for your group, and details on
running your own 2012 survey (not recommended until after the general
Austin one closes and we post our results), are all online at the
Distance site:

http://distance.cc/issues

Take the survey. Ask your organizers to use feedback forms. Tell
your friends and colleagues about the survey.

Thanks so much, it was great to talk with you.

Best,
Vitorio
