I would strongly suggest hosting with one of the two Drupal hosting platforms Pantheon or Acquia. They have great developer support understand Drupal performance and provide a great deal of value over just a regular vps or managed host.
It's hard to recommend one above the other they have different strengths, but i would strongly recommend either over other solutions.
