Correct.  You can also escape them by doubling, as you can elsewhere in
CF, but mixing them is generally easier on the eyes.

Unfortunately, the world is irregular, so regex won't help you there.
Come to think about it, the world is barely human-readable, so parsing
it's going to have to wait for quantum computing, at the least.
