The reason I wanted to do this is because I made a tag to create soft-hyphens in a text, to be use in narrow columns. The problem is that I don't want things like addresses in href to be hypenated ;-) I temporarily solved the problem by refraining from hyphenating when the string "href" is found in the text, which is rarely the case in my application.
